Partial & Instrumental covers

Whether you call it a "cover" (version or song), a "remake" or a "revival", this kind of song is by definition a new performance or recording by an artist (singer, musician, band) other than the original performer or composer of the song.

This is the reason why you will not find, for instance, songs like "Oxygen" or "The One And Only" on this page.

These two songs were written by Nik Kershaw BUT recorded by other artists BEFORE Nik Kershaw released his own recorded version.

We'll stick to songs that were first released by Nik Kershaw and then released by other artists (without Nik's involvement in these later recordings apart from writing and composing).

Many artists around the world have been inspired by Nik Kershaw's songs and recorded their own versions.

Sometimes close to the original versions.

Sometimes with many new arrangements.

You may like them...

You may hate them...

That's art.

Here are some of these official cover versions.

1/ Partial covers

(Some artists replace Nik Kershaw's verses with rap or slam verses or other melodic verses - including different texts - but keep the choruses that contributed to make a hit of Nik Kershaw songs)
