An official live version of the song, recorded in Alabama Hall in Munich (Germany) in 1984, can be found on the CD/DVD release 2011 "Live In Germany" CD/DVD release.

Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1984 (May Concert) (5:16 // 5:07)

This live version was released on 1984 NIKD5 "Human Racing" double 7" record.

Even though it was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, England, this live recording is NOT from the December 31st 1984 concert.

It was probably recorded on May 25th 1984.

A remastered version was released for the first time as track 12 on disc 2 of the 2012 "Human Racing" album double CD.

It is a bit shorter than the original 7" version.

The original version has a slightly longer introduction with the audience cheering and the drum sticks beating the tempo before the song starts.

Additional effects seem to be added to Nik Kershaw's voice on this remastered version.

Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1984 (December Concert) (5:23)

This live version was recorded on December 31st 1984 at the Hammersmith Odeon, London (England).

A major difference between the May 1984 and the December 1984 versions can be heard halfway through the song when Nik Kershaw "is mine and yours" (just before "When there's still conflict and confusion").

The note sang for the word "yours" is a kept the same and much longer on the December recording.

The first release of that live version was on the 1985 VHS.

A remastered video version was released as track 6 on February 21st 2025 on the unique DVD from the MCA YEARS box set.

An audio only recording was also released on February 21st 2025 as track 6 of Disc 9 ("Live at the Hammersmith Odeon - Disc One") from the MCA YEARS box set.

Note that the audio only version has a fade-in and a fade-out.
